PT Bina Mitra Indosejahtera QHSE integrated management system certification

PT Bina Mitra Indosejahtera (BMIS), one of the highly-credible dredging and reclamation companies in Indonesia, is expanding its scope of business in shipping equipment and strengthening the domestic market share.

Empowered by resourceful team and on-site capability, the company emphasizes the construction quality and safety with a set of stringent requirements and technical QHSE standards of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 : 2015 in environmental management system and OHSAS 18001 : 2007 in safety and health management system.

Having been aware of the importance in service reliability to maintain a long-term reputation in the industry, the company values greatly innovation in technology. It introduces the extensive practice of Chinese technical ability in engineering based on the abundant experience and diligence of the construction team.

The company has frequently undertaken channel dredging with three trailing suction hopper dredgers, besides marine engineering, port construction, and other steel construction projects. This process has resulted in the contribution of experience and knowledge for Indonesia’s economic development.

The three-days external initial audit by UKAS-accredited UK-based certification body ACM through their Indonesian business unit ACM Indonesia, was successfully held from 2 to 4 April 2018 in head office, Jakarta, and project site, Cilacap, Central Java.

Besides the visitation by the audit team led by Mr. Putu Adi, QHSE management lead auditor Purnadi Phan of Archipelago Strategic & Partners Indonesia (ASPI) was also present, providing external audit assistance to ensure our partners in BMIS a success in obtaining the QHSE integrated management system certificates as expected.
